Condolence: I was heartbroken to hear of Grace's passing. Another strong and loving family member gone to be with their loved ones already in heaven. We are all left here to miss her and grieve for her but she is at rest now and with her beloved Clarence. May the memories you have of your mother/grandmother and the love of friends and family help you all through this sad time. Condolence: Words can't express how sorry I am to hear of Aunt Grace's passing. I have so many cherished memories connected to her and to Uncle Clarence - as a child visiting at your house in Greenfield and at the camp in Bangs Falls with my mom and dad and later as an adult visiting Aunt Grace and Uncle Clarence with my children. They were always warm, kind, and welcoming. I also grieve the loss of the connection to my own parents that stayed alive while Grace and Clarence were still with us. I know the four of them shared a very special relationship over the years. I am away and am so sorry that I was unable to attend Grace's service, but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Cherish your memories and hold each other close.

A Tribute In Memory of Grace Hanley
The death angels came for her
on her eighty-eighth year to the day;
They left her tired, old body behind
but they took her immortal spirit away.
By her friends, family and loved ones
she will be missed, that's for certain;
We sympathize in your loss
and we understand that you're hurting.
To be absent from our mortal body
is to present with the Lord, we are told;
This blessed assurance from Scripture
I encourage everyone to take hold.
There is a time to be born
and there is a time to die, too;
At this time we want the family to know
that we're thinking of and praying for you.
With her much beloved Clarence
Grace will be united once more;
We can take great comfort in knowing
that all of her struggles are o'er.
The Good Lord up above
granted her eighty-eight years to the day;
But the many fond memories of her
never will pass away.
She will live on in the lives of her children
and in their children, as well;
There will be precious memories to cling to
and many wonderful stories to tell.
Things are never the same
after both parents are gone;
But you have been blessed as a family
to have had your parents this long.
It's fitting to thank the Good Lord in closing
for the life of your precious loved one;
Whose life here is now over
but her new life is just begun.
