Robicheau Catherine (Elizabeth) “Lizzie” age -95, of Nakile Home for Special Care passed away peacefully at Nakile on January 1, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter to the late Mondie and Margaret (Melanson) Robicheau. Lizzie was a member of the Salvation Army and was a member of the Salvation Army Home League as well as associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61, Yarmouth. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting slippers. She is survived by sister, Beulah (Robert) Bullerwell. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette Robicheau (her twin), Marjorie, Leta, Evelyn, Mae, Edith; brothers, Roy, Hebert, Wilford, Melbourne, Ernie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium in Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at the Sweenys Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Following the visitation a funeral service will commence at 2 p.m with Captain Mike and Melissa Mailman officiating. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Salvation Army fellowship room, all are welcomed. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
