HILLYARD (NOSEWORTHY), Maggie
Age 66, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth, NS. Born on August 6, 1950 in Green Island Brook, Newfoundland she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ellen (Carter) Noseworthy. She will now once again be by the side of her recently deceased husband of almost 49 years, Wesley. She will be forever missed by her loving son Aubrey (Amy); granddaughters, Lillian and Ellen; daughter, Amber; granddaughters Tori, Tenesha and Tiffany; brothers, Lambert (Grace), John (Elaine), Aubrey, sister Effie (Kenneth) Kasell, brother in laws Wilfred Chambers and Baxter Quinlan, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Jessie, Iris, sister in law Diane and two infant daughters Tammy and Connie. Maggie moved to Red Bay after marrying her loving husband Wesley to raise their family until two and half years ago when she moved to be closer to her son Aubrey and family in Nova Scotia. She loved spending time with the granddaughters, baking bread, playing cards and spending time at the cabin. She was well loved by her family and many friends. She is free from all pain and suffering now. Rest in peace wife, mom, sister, aunt, nan and friend. Cremation has taken place. A joint funeral and interment for both Wesley and Maggie will be at 2 pm on August 19th, 2017 at the Red Bay United Church with Rev Alice Moores officiating. The family would like to thank relatives and friends for their prayers and kind words of comfort especially family friend Dr. Julie Chandler who was there with us right to the end and the Pastoral Care team of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. They would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Yarmouth Regional Hospital especially the renal unit over the last two and half years as well as the wonderful staff, residents and volunteers at Nakile Home for Special Care.
