White, Ernest “Ernie” Gordon- age 74, of South Ohio, N.S. passed away on April 10, 2017. Born in Forest Glen, NS on January 5th, 1943 he was the son of Olive (Brittain) and the late Malcolm White. Ernie spent his working life in Ontario where he worked at Whitby Welding, A.G. Simpson, Oshawa Towing and Oshawa Times. He spent his last year in South Ohio. He was a loving son, dad, grampy and brother. In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter; Kimberly (Jim) Wannamaker, Cameron, Ont., sisters; Sandra (Denton) Ford, Port Maitland, Marsha (Tom) Bickford, South Ohio, brother; Malcolm (Harriet), Port Maitland, grandchildren; Samantha, Dustin (Jackie) and Leighland (Ashley) as well as 7 great grandchildren. Besides his father he was predeceased by his son Thomas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be a visitation Thursday April 13th from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Moses officiating.
