God broke the mould after he made Karen. She was one of a kind and I am so grateful to have known her, worked with her and call her friend. She had so many gifts, her intelligence, her common sense, her kindness and her loving heart were but a few. Karen had a way of making things understandable, simplifying chaos and making clear the best path. She helped me see real truth and what was important. She was a true friend. Condolence: Our family lived across the street(Prince) from Karen so as kids we played together all the time. We were involved with the Y and Karen and I were in the Jr. Leaders Corp. My sister (Gaynia) and I were members of the YMCA White Caps. I still remember pilling into Dick Judge's station wagon and heading to Cornwallis for swim meets. Karen was always laughing and playing jokes. We will always have memories to cherish of friends and loved ones who go before us. We will have the family in our prayers during this time of rememberence
