Carol Rosalie McCormack passed away September 17,2022 at the Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth at the age of 83. Born in Yarmouth she was a daughter to the late John and Effie (Crosby) Vickery and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Carol enjoyed watching all her grandchildren playing sports, 4H activities and ox hauls throughout the years. She took great pride in her own home décor. She was an avid bowler, gardener, card player and loved to entertain. She was a baker and enjoyed making sweets and looking after her many cats. Carol was a foster mom to many and would care for them like her own children. She is survived by her loving husband, Alan; children, James (Eileen); Ross (Bonnie); Kathy (Miles); Sheila (Darrell); Donna (Irvin); Shelley; Paul (Crystal); grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Christopher, Emileigh, Amanda, Ryan, Carissa, Kayla, Danica, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Kassie and Ava. She was predeceased by her siblings, Willard, Marie, Judy, June, Phyllis, Olive and Jean, grandchildren, Jeremy and Shannon. A graveside funeral service will be for family only, October 2,2022 from the Brooklyn Cemetery.
