Nickerson, Ronald of Yarmouth passed away peacefully on September 8,2022 at Nakile Home for Special Care. Born in Yarmouth he was a son to the late Earl and Laura (Morton) Nickerson. Ron started his working career at the Credit Bureau of Nova Scotia, a part time Deputy Sherriff, followed by Commissioners Nova Scotia at the Yarmouth Airport until his retirement. He was Captain of the Air Cadets for 22 years, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a thrill seeker by nature always up for an adventure and loved to sky dive and the occasional Mooshead Dry. He is survived by his daughters, Tanya (Jonathan) Manser, Wedgeport; Paige (Jeremy) d’Eon, West Pubnico; grandchildren, Garrett (Kayla); Dalton; Dakota; Dallas; Dominic; great grandchildren, Elsie; Remi; brother, Wayne Nickerson, Hebron; sisters, Thelma Brassard, Hebron; Lori (Hugh) Nickerson, Yarmouth. Hugh meant the world to him; honorary sister, Joanne (Richard) Nickerson. He was predeceased by brothers, Raymond; Harvey, Kenny; sisters, Elsie Murphy and Brenda Nickerson. Funeral service will be Monday, September 12,2022 at 11 a.m. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Raymond Pitcher officiating. Interment in Chegoggin Cemetery.
